A Chinese business is building a private city called Forest City on four reclaimed islands in Malaysia two miles from Singapore. The city will have 700,000 residents with commercial and industrial businesses. Originally Malaysia promised residency to the primarily Chinese property owners but has recently rescinded that promise.
