WORQ Secures Funding for Expansion

FLEXIBLE working space provider, WORQ, has secured investments worth $2.4 million from seven follow-on investors to expand its footage and provide cost-efficient workspace solutions for businesses after the Covid-19 pandemic.

“WORQ sells office usage to companies one desk at a time, eliminating the need to rent and fit out an office,” said WORQ’s CEO Stephanie Ping in a press conference.

The firm has also expanded its services to include WORQ Enterprise, a space-on-demand division that is dedicated to consulting and customising workspaces for companies.

These solutions have helped companies to save up to 30% in costs every month. It will also launch its proprietary community app, SPARQ, to create an online-offline experience for its users.

“This spawns local communities everywhere, thereby canvassing the globe with productive hyper-localized communities all over the world. Ultimately, WORQ’s vision is to help people prosper by working together,” added Ping.

Libertarian Co-housing?

Can classical liberals use the co-housing and intentional communities models to escape the clutches of big government? There are currently 165 cohousing communities nationwide, with another 140 in the planning stages, according to the Cohousing Association of the United States.

Most of these so-called intentional communities are multigenerational, while a growing number are either predominantly or exclusively occupied by senior residents.

People own their own homes and can sell them on the open market. Residents pay into a fund to maintain facilities and collectively agree on how they should be used.

Some are rural. Others are suburban, and even urban. Intentional communities have been fighting zoning and property tax schemes for years, and have developed some tools.

JE: I bet you are really busy these days. How’s it going?

MA: Indeed! We’re working on a lot of online student programming these days because of COVID. Has been a strange year no doubt. I’m well though. Hbu?

JE: Doing good, started a web page a Facebook page and a group…. keeps me busy. Really like that idea you had about using the SFL model for old farts… don’t know how I could learn the SFL model though.

Self-Determination Advocates

https://www.facebook.com/SelfDeterminationAdvocates

https://www.facebook.com/groups/407149956928801

MA: I think adapting the SFL model could be helpful. The biggest hurdle would be gatekeeping for behavior. In SFL, we don’t tolerate inappropriate communication or behavior. Professionalism is valued in and out of the activist space.

In the few instances where there’s a leader with a bad attitude, they’re ejected. I’ve never seen a non-student org successfully implement that kind of policy. But there are enough caustic personalities that it’d be necessary for an organization modeled after SFL.

Otherwise, the infighting of the LP would just be replicated.

JE: Yes, that is the stuff I need to learn how to do…

MA: We use the R.I.S.E. model;

RESPECTFUL: Don’t cuss, threaten, or get personal. Remember that no one changes their mind due to name-calling, and being respectful improves optics in public forums. Being disrespectful can cause your conversation partner to double down or disengage. That’s no way to change minds.

INTELLIGENT: Know what you’re talking about. Use sources and ask for sources. Use language that others will understand and use technical language accurately. In general, unless you’re memeing or joking, avoid lazy arguments or fallacies.

STRATEGIC: Sometimes the best strategy involves knowing when and when not to argue a point. If someone has become very emotional about the topic or is getting very personal with you, that’s a good sign you should stop engaging.

EMPATHETIC: Have patience. Not everyone has the same knowledge or personal experiences. It takes longer for some people to get where you’re coming from. No one is born with an ideology. Use empathy to relate to your conversation partner and communicate your ideas more effectively.

JE: Could I go to LibertyCon?

MA: You absolutely can. It’s still being planned – COVID is creating a whole list of challenges for planning, so it’s taking a bit to handle each before we begin promotion.

JE: Keep me informed… sounds like fun.

Michael David Uno

Be the judge of your own reality

JE: What are your first impressions of the Self-Determination Advocates page?

MU: It looks great and informative on world events.

JE: Glad you like it. Are you libertarian Michael?

MU: I don’t hold any political preference. The system is rigged against the population.  All sides are just arms from one body. But I do believe in liberty and freedom for all.

JE: Yes, I agree… politics is a win/lose process at best. So, how do you find freedom in an unfree world?

MU: Ww3 is the government’s against the people. Only the mind is free.

JE: World War 3?

MU: It’s been going on. It’s a war on human consciousness.

JE: Yes, many of my prisons; I have made in my mind. Human consciousness?

MU: The world, universe, and physics that are taught to us are actually man-made. That means the reality we believe to be true is a man-made mirrored reality. A soul lure system. This takes the observer out of the center position in the reality and shoots them off into space out there somewhere.

JE: Ever read “the social construction of reality?” https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Social_Construction_of_Reality

The Social Construction of Reality – Wikipedia

en.wikipedia.org

MU: No I haven’t but it sounds amazing

JE: Yes, we are moved from being the center of reality to… outside it observing it!…?

MU: The more we know about the universe the more we know about ourselves and our true origins. Science only observes 0.1% of it all and use that 0.1% to explain 99%. That’s like reading one page of the bible and making up a whole story.

JE: We know so little about reality.

MU: That’s on purpose.

JE: Rumpelstiltskin.

MU: Are you religious? We are all forms of imploded consciousness.

JE: Science dissects reality and kills it in the process.

MU: When they get down to the smallest atom they find it to be empty.

JE: I consider myself spiritual.

MU: Yes imploded. The big bang was an implosion of consciousness.

JE: Always looking for the stuff… but never finding it. Just form, no matter. hehe

MU: Because what people are looking for is looking out there eyes from within

JE: We need to look inside? Ever close your eyes… and watch the designs?

MU: I have had some crazy experiences

JE: Experiences?

MU: You have to look so far inside that your consciousness flips inside out. And you’re still the center point of it all at all times.

JE: Inside out?

MU: Yeah, once you make it in, it expands out. You have to go in to get out. Its the key to interdimensional travel.

JE: How do you go “in?”

MU: I was given a binary coded diamond out there.

JE: A diamond?

MU: It explains how consciousness becoming aware of itself caused what we call the big bang.

JE: That’s how the big bang happened?

MU: The big bang in religious terms is the word that manifested light.

JE: Light manifested? In an infinite space, any point can be the center, every point?

MU: Everypoint is the center in their own individual time-space. This is an equation breakdown of the binary coded single diamond.

It represents and the individual universe and individual observer.  A universe and observe are = Starting at the bottom (1)=you (.) = big bang/word/ first sound

1. The dimensions go up infinitely…

2. But you can never get to the top.

3. If one was to get to the final dimension you would then have another dimension above you

4. Or there would be another singularity back to the beginning and possibly multiply.

5. The Highest is the limit.

6. But there is no limit to The Highest!

7. Time is the breath(aether) needed to interact with the frequencies stored within the singularity point.

8. That is called the WORD or big bang event.

9. When sound is made in that higher dimension it is light to the dimension under it.

10. Just like our voice is light to an ever lower consciousness dimension.

11. At the point of the highest consciousness dimension…it sounds a reaction of being aware. From there it is -1 d then light then -1 d sound! 0-1-0-1-0-1-0-1-0 like binary code

                         -1 d= dimension -1

                                Sound = 0

                                   Light = 1

12.  Now take that first 0 and now it is under you in all directions.

13. Each dimension goes down and out and width is squared by distant…

14. Then at max spectrum balance see it shrinks back down like a diamond shape

       The Highest =¥(.)——<

                                        0.        ^

                                      010.       ^

                                    01010.     ^

               Average = 0101010.  —–=

                                    01010.     ^

                          Us=     010.       ^

                                        0          ^

                                       (.)——–^

15. Light & darkness as one again at singularity back with original consciousness through the WORD of the highest = (.)

16. It all expands from 1 single dot…

17. The dot has infinity within it because there is no limit or boundaries.

18. Once at a high level say 75 to 99% of the understanding you would then be able to see how the next dimension acts…

19. I was like a hummingbird moving in any direction and had a zooming motion…

20. Unaware of the body but you can see and move around and think and ponder things

21. I’m thinking when that new dimension becomes more and more natural you will soon then split at that dimension…

22. Placing you with a new manifested reality(new earth) or new dimension going up from the previous dimension.

23. Absolute   (.) Highest

                           0

                        010

                      01010

                    0101010— balance

                      01010

                        010.   Us

                          0

                         (.) Lowest

24. This represents all dimensions, multi-verses

Quantum entanglement, how energy stays Infiniti, and is always recycling back to its stating point.

25. Its also known as the tree of life…

26. A diamond that holds all colors of the light spectrum echoing going from 1 form to another,

27. (sound light, etc × infinity)

28.  Each form is another dimension…

29. The 0 just represents sound without friction.

30. 1 is sound going into and atmosphere.  Or fluid type substance I believe is aether…

31. There is no way shape and form nothingness before something

32. The 0 is actually just a firmament separation. Just a veil.

33. Like a thin line or sheet of paper separating 1 from 1.

Like a book closed… its all 1 but you don’t see the zeros that make up the pages.

34. The 1 is sound echoing off of an echo.

35. 0 is sound in frequency form moving faster than light without friction.

36. 0 is never anything! It is just unseen

38. Unawareness will always be 0 or empty space

39. It is all connected on a subatomic level that humanity is just unaware of

40. The formation of matter depends on awareness or not… solid or wave

Yes, you can share it if you like to. This stuff is deep many won’t understand but there are few that do. And some even get awoken from it.

Carlos Manuel Cumba Vemba

Carlos Manuel Cumba Vemba is Co-founder and President of MIC (Cabinda Independence Movement). He studied at the National Mining University in Ukraine.

CV: MIC and the people of Cabinda want independentist referendo to resolve our political problem because this is an international situation and the UN can’t ignore that. About it, we want realization Referendo in 2022.

We want international help mainly from the USA for our independence because the USA is in Cabinda since 1968 about Oil, here live people our land has people not only natural reaches.

JE: The Front for the Liberation of the Enclave of Cabinda (Portuguese: Frente para a Libertação do Enclave de Cabinda, FLEC) is a guerrilla and political movement fighting for the independence of the Angolan province of Cabinda.

Formerly under Portuguese administration, with the independence of Angola from Portugal in 1975, the territory became an exclave province of the newly independent Angola. The FLEC fights the Cabinda War in the region occupied by the former kingdoms of Kikongo, Loango, and N’Goyo.

How does your organization differ from FLEC? What is your commitment to non-violence?

CV: There’s some difference. Both organizations fight for the independence of Cabinda. The difference is: FLEC is guerrilla warfare and MIC is a 100% pacific movement we haven’t guerrilla, only make pacific march sometime during these 2 years since the foundation MIC.

While FLEC is a guerrilla and political organization. MIC is a pacific political organization that is more diplomatic. Many people don’t know the history bout this territory. I think we need a referendum to find a better political solution for the People of Cabinda.

JE: You mentioned a referendum how do you see that working? Is Angola known for free and impartial elections?

CV: Not, Angola doesn’t have free and impartial elections. But ONU can make Angola known it.

JE: So, a referendum would need UN observers, etc?

CV: Yes of course, Because this is the responsibility of the UN.

JE: What is your opinion about attempting more local measures?

CV: My opinion about Cabinda; first, this problem is international because are two different African that have different trajectory history colonial but the same right. UN can’t forget. It’s a reason we call the international community for measures this conflict, the referendum can be a realization in Cabinda.

JE: How is that reasoning working?

CV: The reason this works to win international help. Political and diplomatic.

JE: Do you have connections with people outside of Angola?

CV: Yes I have connections with some people who live outside of Angola but they aren’t political. The UN has been silent on this issue. We have our page on Facebook named MIC-Movimento Independentista de Cabinda.

I AM A MAN WITH AMBITION: Mansaray Osman

  • Studied at WEST AFRICA METHODIST COLLEGIATE SCHOOL FREETOWN SIERRA LEONE
  • Lives in Freetown, Sierra Leone

FIVE MAJOR PROBLEM

1 JUSTICE AND PSYCHOSOCIAL SUPPORT TO HOMELESS AND OTHER VULNERABLE GROUPS CONSTITUTING SOCIETY (POPULATION AT RISK)

REASON FOR THIS STEP…… Homeless and other vulnerable groups who are viewed as not worth in society face an everyday challenge in their daily lives. They aren’t only victims of discrimination and stigma, but also, at major risk to mental illness. However, the rate at which this spreads is becoming unbearable in Africa and Sierra Leone to be specific. Therefore, as passionate individuals, recognizing the inherent dignity and worth of all individuals, my team and I will be grateful to form and extend a Libertarian organization that will be geared towards enhancing human wellbeing.

2 PROMOTING THE IDEOLOGY OF LIBERTY THROUGH COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT, HOSTING WORKSHOPS, SEMINARS, STAKEHOLDERS EDUCATION, ADVOCACY, ACTIVISM ETC

REASON FOR THIS STEP….. The ideology of liberty is central to the world, hence, needs to be taught and embraced. People need to know their rights and exercise their freedom in whatever thing they choose. If we are to succeed in ensuring liberty wins, then, we must strive to spread liberty in every corner of the world.

3 PROVIDING AID TO LESS PRIVILEGED: SOME SPECIFIC GROUPS IN GAINING SELF RELIANCE, ACHIEVING THEIR SET GOALS, AND REACHING AUTONOMY

REASON FOR THIS STEP…… The ideology of liberty is multidimensional which tells us that it embraces different facets of human life. In Africa, and Sierra Leone to be precise, illiteracy is leading to an increase in suffering and has resulted in so many negative consequences. Many couldn’t reach the demands of continuing school and had ended up being dropped out of school. Many are victims of teenage pregnancy which is limiting their ability towards nation-building. Therefore, because of this reason, as passionate individuals, we may be happy to serve humanity by empowering them with other skills besides education. Skills and training will enable them to gain self-reliance and autonomy.

4 MITIGATING ILLITERACY AND ALSO ADVOCATING FOR SCHOOL GOING CHILDREN AGAINST ALL OPPRESSIVE SITUATIONS WHICH HINDER THEIR RIGHT. (UPHOLDING ANTI OPPRESSIVE PRACTICES)

REASON FOR THIS STEP….. In Sierra Leone, poverty is the predominant factor towards the poor acquaintance of education. Many young girls are betrothed to wealthier families just in the name of wealth. Providing support and other materials to poorer families is vital in serving humanity and achieving this task.

CAPACITY DEVELOPMENT AMONG YOUTH THROUGH EQUIPPING THEM WITH NEEDED SKILLS AND EMPOWERMENT INITIATIVES

REASON FOR THIS STEP… Besides education, there are other means through which one can gain a livelihood and sustain oneself, thereby contributing to the furtherance of society. So as passionate individuals, there’s a need to bring about change through serving humanity

THINGS I WILL LIKE TO CHANGE:

1. Change from poor quality education to good quality education.

2. Citizens must exercise their franchise I.e. their rights

3. Invest in earlier childhood education for children to have a good foundation and a better tomorrow.

4. I will put a stop to political misrule and violence.

5. Put a stop to tribalism in Sierra Leone

6. Maintain religious tolerance

7. Put a stop to corruption and its practice(s)

8. Empower the youths I.e. focus on youth empowerment programs

9. Stop child and sexual abuses

10. Focus on educating girls as it has a multiplier effect.

11. Education shall be a human right.

12 Engage in community service

13. Fight for the disadvantaged

14. Be a passionate youth to change the world.

15. Volunteer

16. Give other young people are role.

17. Create online forums to reach other youths

18. Provide support to other youths.

19. Speak out for justice

20. I will host a youth summit for all youths.

Raghavendar Askani

Raghavendar Askani

Founder: Youth Parliament Program.

Program Director / Co-founder:  Swatantrata Center

How did you become a classical liberal?

I am more of a Chicago school minarchist style limited government believer. I have been influenced by pro classical liberal politician Dr. Jayaprakash Narayan who is the Founder of the Loksatta movement and Loksatta Political party, and policy thinktank Foundation for Democratic Reforms.

I have gained more understanding of classical liberal ideas and possible positive impact on India through India’s Future Foundation programs and the Foundation for Economic Education (FEE).

I got actively Involved in the classical liberal movement in India and worked as Program Director for India’s Future Foundation (Predecessor of Swatantrata center) and in 2016, I started the Youth Parliament Program under the guidance of Dr.JP Narayan and Venkatesh Geriti which now serves as a youth outreach project of Swatantrata Center where I serve as Program director.

What is the vision for the Youth Parliament Program?

Youth Parliament Program is an ideal platform for socially conscious youth to voice their views & ideas & act as a change agent in building the India of our dreams!

YPP mission to create awareness and empower youth through Youth Parliament sessions where youth can come together, think, discuss and debate on various issues, such as education and health, electoral and political reforms, judicial & police reforms, local governments & citizen-centered governance, governance reforms, instruments of accountability, and public policy reforms in India.

What is the plan to attain that vision?

In the process create awareness and empower youth through Youth Parliament sessions and boot camps on liberal Ideas where youth can come together, think, discuss and debate on policies that will inspire the youth to express their views in an organized way. It will also allow for the emergence of bright future leaders.

We hosted a first-ever Leadership Bootcamp where we were able to bring 100+ students across India and 30+ policy experts from various domains such as public policy, business, academia, non-profits, civil society movements, and media.

What challenges do you face?

Classical liberal ideas are almost alien to Indians and some have never even heard some of the ideas we talk about. Most political parties are socialist and semi communist leaning and they don’t have a certain world view/ideological point of view which becomes a huge problem.

Most parties and political organizations compete to become big socialist and welfarist political organizations.

How can we help?

You can help us by promoting our works and involving as partners in our projects as donors, speakers, and supporting organizations.

Break It Up

In his new book, “Break It Up: Secession, Division, and the Secret History of America’s Imperfect Union,” leftist journalist Richard Kreitner expresses doubt that the country can hold together, or should.

As he notes, English colonists came here to separate themselves from their rulers. Our revolution amounted to the colonies’ secession from the British Empire.

The concept of splitting off is as American as the Fourth of July. The high point of separation sentiment came after Abraham Lincoln’s election in 1860, resulting in the Civil War.

But New England states contemplated leaving over the War of 1812. And though the South was forced to stay, it fiercely resisted federal interference in race relations for a century — achieving an autonomy just short of independence.

I have an e-pub of this book. If you would like to read it send me an email at SelfDeterminationAdvocates@gmail.com
